Phil Gonzalez is the Founder of Resource Edge. Phil launched in Resource Edge in 1999 after building and managing his own IT staffing firm in the Silicon Valley. Through his experience building high performing recruiting teams during a time when IT recruitment was explosive and still being defined, Phil identified the need for systems that would help recruiters manage high volume recruiting and streamline the online sourcing process.
Phil was instrumental in the concept and development of TalentHook, the first recruitment solution offering from Resource Edge. Since its inception, TalentHook has been recognized in the recruitment industry as a best-in-class Internet search product with strong development understanding of the logic behind online candidate search and retrieval.
Phil and his wife reside in Texas, where he a very active father with his three small children. An avid fisherman and animal lover, Phil enjoys regular weekend trips with his family enjoying the great outdoors throughout Nevada, Utah and California.
Benjamin Grosse is the Chief Technical Officer of Resource Edge. Benjamin came to Resource Edge in 2005 after seven years of professional experience in the design and implementation of search software and application development. Founding his own development business in 1998, Benjamin’s strong development knowledge and unique understanding of dynamic internet search lead him to join First Place Software, a best-selling search engine marketing software company. During his tenure there, Benjamin was responsible for the architecture and development of new products to expand the First Place Software suite.
Benjamin’s interest in capitalizing on the evolution of Internet search for a variety of business objectives brought him to Resource Edge in 2005, where he has managed the ongoing development and architecture of the Internet resume search product, TalentHook. During Benjamin’s time with TalentHook he has compiled a strong development team and spearheaded the production of new TalentHook releases that demonstrate an innovative understanding of usability and the changing face of Internet recruiting. In 2011, Benjamin’s team successfully launched the most recent product offering from Resource Edge, InsuraSeek. Benjamin’s scope of expertise includes UI and UX design, software architecture, cloud communications, Microsoft development languages and platforms.
Benjamin currently resides in Orange County, California. In addition to his passion for technology and software development, Benjamin also includes outdoor adventuring, cooking, and art to his list of interests.
Cheryl Hardy is the Chief Marketing Officer of Resource Edge. Cheryl joined the Resource Edge team in 2005 with over 14 years of executive communication and recruitment experience. Beginning her professional career in Advertising and Marketing with a Davis Advertising, a national recruitment advertising agency based in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Cheryl desired to take those years of Advertising and Branding experience and work internally with corporations in search of their recruitment brand identity.
Cheryl’s corporate experience includes tenure with Fortune 500 Document Management company IKON where she implemented a national Employee Referral Program, established a formal recruitment brand, developed a dashboard reporting system for recruiting metrics and managed key vendors and tools used by their recruitment division. Cheryl’s recruitment strategy work continued during her time with Sodexo, an international hospitality company. As a member of their Talent Acquisition Group, Cheryl was responsible for the development and implementation of a national sourcing strategy, sourcing and hiring tools strategy and recruitment brand development.
Cheryl is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Communication. She currently resides in Austin, Texas. When she is not writing for business or pleasure, you will find her behind a pottery wheel in her private studio dedicated to her other passion – ceramics.
