Company reorganization prepares Resource Edge for increase in software and business development.
Las Vegas, NV – Resource Edge, recruitment and staffing software development company with over 14 years of experience in custom front-end recruiting and prospect management software solutions, has recently announced key updates to their leadership team including the addition of Don Weis, joining the company as President and Chief Operating Officer.
Weis brings substantial executive leadership experience to Resource Edge and is regarded in the industry as a recruiting and operations innovator who brings creative solutions to staffing issues. His experience includes over 27 years experience in recruiting, covering a broad canvas of industries and skill areas. Serving previously in executive leadership roles with Randstad and SFN Group, Weis has implemented centralized recruiting operations including team development and the identification and customization of technical solutions to increase efficiency.
In addition to the appointment of Weis, Resource Edge has restructured their leadership team in an effort to provide increased stability and direction as the company prepares to expand and their service and software offerings over the next five years. Phil Gonzalez, now functioning exclusively as the Founder of Resource Edge, is excited about the addition of Weis to the leadership team. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Don as a client and industry peer for over a decade,” says Gonzalez. “I know first-hand the depth of his talents as a staffing and recruiting executive and as an innovative industry subject matter expert. Resource Edge plans to announce major product enhancements over the first two quarters of 2013, with additional product development in their long-term product pipeline. The company will be also be introducing more learning and support to their clients, engaging in an expanded communication series targeted to existing clients, that will assist them with utilizing Resource Edge solutions more strategically.

Don Weis is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Resource Edge. Previously Don has held key executive positions with Randstad and SFN Group (Spherion). While at Randstad, Don was responsible for the integration of Spherion’s National Delivery Excellence Centers into Randstad’s National Delivery organization post Randstad’s acquisition of SFN Group. While at SFN Group, Don’s most recent position was as the Chief of Staff to Spherion’s President along with his role as the Vice President of the central recruiting organization. Previous positions with SFN Group included executive level positions with the professional services division. He previously held various other positions responsible for national operations along building local, national and international recruiting teams. Don has also held leadership roles for the United States Air Force Recruiting Service.
